Why this matters

Version history gives every project a durable set of recovery points. Automatic checkpoints are created after meaningful editing settles, while named versions let you mark the cuts you want to keep. Restoring is designed to be reversible: Vidorio saves the current project first, then loads the selected version with its timeline, media, text, subtitles, and mix.

How to use it

  1. Open version history

    In the editor toolbar, choose Versions.

  2. Save a milestone

    Add an optional version name, then choose Save version.

  3. Restore safely

    Find a saved version or autosave and choose Restore; the current project is saved before the selected version loads.
