Data Deletion Instructions

Choose the control that matches what you want to remove: your entire Vidorio account, a connected publishing account, or data covered by a privacy request.

1. Before you delete an account

Account deletion is permanent. Download finished videos and save any scripts, uploads, invoices, or project information you need first. Remaining credits are removed and cannot be moved to another account. If you own a workspace, its members lose access.

Deleting a Vidorio account also cancels active Vidorio plan and member-seat subscriptions tied to that account. It does not delete videos or posts already published to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram. If you only want to stop Vidorio from accessing a social account, disconnect that platform instead of deleting your whole Vidorio account.

2. Delete your account in Vidorio

If you can sign in, use the in-app process:

  1. Open your Vidorio account settings.
  2. Choose Delete profile.
  3. Request the deletion code sent to your account email.
  4. Enter the six-digit code.
  5. Read the final warning and choose Delete profile to confirm.

After successful confirmation, Vidorio removes the server-side account data described below, revokes account sessions, clears the current browser's saved Vidorio workspace record, and returns you to the signed-out home page. If an active billing subscription cannot be cancelled safely, deletion stops before account data is removed and an error is shown so you can retry or contact support.

Some browser media caches may remain until the browser clears them. To remove those local copies immediately, clear vidorio.com site data on this browser and on any other device where you used Vidorio.

3. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app control, email vidoriocom@gmail.com from the address connected to the account. Use the subject Data deletion request and include the Vidorio account email you want deleted.

We may request reasonable information to verify identity and account control. Do not send a password, one-time code, full card number, or social-platform access token. After verification, we will act without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. If deletion is completed manually, you may also need to clear Vidorio site data in browsers or devices where a local workspace cache remains.

4. What Vidorio account deletion removes

Deletion removes or de-identifies data associated with the account from active Vidorio systems, including where applicable:

  • the Vidorio login account, profile, active sessions, preferences, and account settings;
  • owned workspace projects, scripts, project backups, timeline edits, subtitles, saved presets, and generated project data;
  • uploaded library media, project media, saved audio, custom visual assets, generated images, and temporary export files;
  • credit balances and usage records associated with the deleted account;
  • workspace invitations, membership records, accepted seats, and member usage records involving the account;
  • Vidorio social profiles, stored platform connections and tokens, publishing-operation records, and related uploaded publishing assets;
  • in-product feedback and other account records that are not required for a permitted retention purpose.

Deletion does not reach independent copies you exported, downloaded, shared with another person, or published to a third-party platform.

5. Data that may be retained for a limited purpose

Some information may be retained or de-identified where necessary to meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, security, audit, dispute, or enforcement obligations. For example, Stripe transaction and invoice records are not the same as editable workspace content. Security or audit records may be retained with the account identity replaced, and protected backups may take time to expire through their normal cycle.

We do not use retained data to recreate a deleted workspace. More detail is available in the Privacy Policy retention section.

6. Remove a connected publishing platform

To keep your Vidorio account but remove a social connection, open Publish, select the relevant Vidorio social profile, and disconnect YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram. This removes Vidorio's stored connection for that platform and prevents future publishing through it. It does not remove posts already published.

You can also revoke access directly with the platform:

Revoking access at a platform invalidates future access, but the platform may not instruct Vidorio to erase every stored connection record. Use Vidorio's disconnect control or a verified email request as well when you want the Vidorio-held connection data deleted.

7. Meta / Facebook / Instagram data deletion request

If Facebook or Instagram directed you here, email vidoriocom@gmail.com with the subject Meta data deletion request. Include the relevant Facebook or Instagram account name, Page or professional-account name if applicable, and the Vidorio account email used for the connection.

After reasonable verification, we will remove the Meta connection data Vidorio holds, such as the relevant Page or profile identifiers, access tokens, selected destination, and connection metadata, subject to the limited retention purposes above. Content already published and other data controlled by Meta must be managed in Facebook or Instagram.
